Porters Landing Guest House is a 1796 home, 2-suite B&B (soon to be three suites!), and art gallery located in beautiful Freeport, Maine. We're located just one mile from bustling downtown Freeport, with all of its shopping, LL Bean, restaurants, and galleries, and a short stroll to the western shore of the tidal Harraseeket River, which opens up into Casco Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. We were thrilled to host Maine Magazine during their "48 Hours in Freeport"! Our neighborhood, known as Porters Landing since the 1700s, is full of Federal and Greek Revival homes, has a small marine service shop, two public boat launches, and a long history of mariners and ship-builders. Enjoy a day of shopping, hiking, kayaking, or exploring the Maine coastline, and then come home to your Porters Landing suite for a cozy, lovely evening!
Our suites are modern & completely private! All of our rooms have a kitchenette, living room, bedroom, and of course all are ensuite. Here, you will find common areas that are designed for privacy and intimacy, for late night chats by the fire-pit, for a quiet coffee on the porch, or a peaceful sit in the garden.
